About X and Y

X and Y are authors who prefer to live in the shadows.

However, they both have day jobs that involve either mathematics or communications. They are also fans of airport fiction and have long held the dream of publishing a bestselling work that combines the tropes of romantic pot boiler and spy novel while introducing some important mathematical theorems and conjectures to a wide cross section of readers.

They are pleased to announce that the protagonists of ‘Congruent Triangles’ are nearly all world-leading mathematicians or that they have a natural and previously undiscovered capacity for maths and chess.

X and Y have previously published across a range of different genres. This is their first shared-authorship work. While their interests overlap with the main characters of their debut novel, they have never been pursued with the same level of intensity.
